GlobalData Appoints New Head of Pharma & Diagnostics Consulting to Further Expand in Americas

Research and consulting firm GlobalData is pleased to announce the appointment of Sean X. Hu, Ph.D. and MBA, as its new Vice President and Head of Pharmaceuticals & Diagnostics Consulting, Americas.
Originally educated at Beijing University, Hu obtained a Ph.D. in Genomics from New York University, as well as an MBA from Wharton. He brings a wealth of experience from his 18-year career, which includes senior roles at BioStrat Advisory LLC, Bionest Partners, IMS Management Consulting, and Illumina Inc.
During his time with some of these companies, Hu was responsible for building consulting businesses from the ground up, as well as winning and delivering a large number of client projects.
Hu says: “Joining GlobalData to lead pharma and diagnostics consulting for the Americas is a fantastic opportunity for me and my colleagues to work with companies in this region to help them grow and stay ahead of their respective markets.
